Who we are
Here’s the deal, LEAD Community Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. LEAD Community Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
Pastor Will, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, placed his faith in Jesus at the age of eight, inspired by the example of his parents. In 2008, he accepted his call to ministry and served in various pastoral roles. By 2010, he joined the Christian and Missionary Alliance, planted churches, and led The Village Alliance Church in Cleveland. In 2021, Pastor Will and his wife felt God calling them to move to Toledo to plant a new church focused on making disciples. In faith, they obeyed, and a year later, God birthed LEAD Community Church, where lives are being transformed.

In November of 2025, LEAD Community Church entered a new season of leadership as Mykel Pollock transitioned into the role of Lead Pastor. With a heart for discipleship, community, and Spirit-led mission, Mykel continues to carry forward the vision of seeing people live everyday as disciples of Jesus. More than ever, LEAD Community Church is committed to fostering a family built around being visible in all aspects of life. Gathering as a church family is powerful and necessary, but the mission cannot stop there. God has called His people to be present in the lives of others throughout the week, bringing the love, presence, and hope of Jesus into everyday spaces.
Under Mykel’s leadership, LEAD Community Church remains committed to forming disciples, equipping leaders, and creating environments where being visible ushers in the tangible touch of God on the lives of the people of Toledo.
